Mouse Sensitivity Converter

How to use it: choose the game you are converting from, enter your sensitivity and DPI, and optionally a new DPI. The list shows the sensitivity that gives the same feel in each game.

This free mouse sensitivity converter keeps your aim the same when you switch games or change your mouse DPI. Enter your current game, sensitivity and DPI, and it shows the matching sensitivity for Valorant, CS2, Apex Legends and Overwatch 2, along with your 360 distance in centimeters and inches.

It runs in your browser with nothing to install, and your last values are saved on this device.

How the sensitivity converter works

Every game turns the camera by a set number of degrees for each count your mouse sends. The converter keeps the distance you move your mouse for a full 360 degree turn the same, which is what makes aim feel identical across games.

It uses these well established values, in degrees per count at sensitivity 1:

GameDegrees per count
Valorant0.07
CS20.022
Apex Legends0.022
Overwatch 20.0066

From these, the conversion is:

New sensitivity = old sensitivity x (old game value / new game value) x (old DPI / new DPI)

How to convert your sensitivity

  1. Choose the game you play now in From game.
  2. Enter your current sensitivity and your mouse DPI.
  3. If you are also changing DPI, enter it in New DPI. Otherwise leave it the same.
  4. Read the sensitivity for each game in the list.

For example, a Valorant sensitivity of 0.4 at 800 DPI becomes about 1.273 in CS2 and Apex Legends, and about 4.242 in Overwatch 2.

Changing DPI without changing your aim

If you buy a new mouse or change DPI, you can keep exactly the same feel by adjusting your sensitivity in the opposite direction. Doubling your DPI means halving your sensitivity. Enter your old DPI in Your DPI and the new one in New DPI, and the list shows the new value for every game, including the one you already play.

Things the converter does not include

  • Scoped and ADS sensitivity. These multipliers work differently in each game, so convert your hip fire sensitivity first and then adjust scopes in game.
  • Field of view. A different FOV can make the same 360 distance feel slightly different on screen, especially for small flicks.
  • Fortnite and Call of Duty. Their sensitivity scales are not converted here. Use the Fortnite eDPI Calculator or the Call of Duty eDPI Calculator for those games.

To see your eDPI for one game, use the eDPI Calculator. If you are not sure of your real DPI, measure it with the Mouse DPI Analyzer.

Frequently asked questions

Will my aim feel exactly the same after converting?

The 360 distance will be the same. Small differences can remain because of field of view, so give yourself a few sessions to adjust.

Why are Apex Legends and CS2 values the same?

Both games use the same rotation per mouse count, so the same sensitivity and DPI give the same feel.

Should I change DPI or sensitivity?

Either works, because only the combination matters. Many players pick one DPI and change only the in-game sensitivity.
