How Overwatch 2 eDPI is calculated
In Overwatch 2, eDPI is your DPI multiplied by your sensitivity:
Overwatch 2 eDPI = DPI x sensitivity
For example, 800 DPI with a sensitivity of 5 gives an eDPI of 4000. Overwatch 2 turns the camera 0.0066 degrees per mouse count at sensitivity 1, so 4000 eDPI means a 360 distance of about 34.6 cm.
Overwatch 2 eDPI values look much larger than in CS2 or Valorant. That is only because the game uses a smaller rotation per count, so its sensitivity numbers are higher for the same feel.
Where to find your Overwatch 2 sensitivity
- Open Overwatch 2 and go to Options.
- Open the Controls tab.
- Your value is the mouse Sensitivity setting.
- Your mouse DPI is set in your mouse software. If you are not sure of the real value, measure it with our Mouse DPI Analyzer.
Hero specific sensitivity and scoped sensitivity settings change your aim only in those cases. The calculator uses your general sensitivity.

Converting Overwatch 2 sensitivity
- Overwatch 2 to CS2 or Apex Legends: divide by 3.33. An Overwatch 2 sensitivity of 5 becomes 1.5.
- CS2 or Apex Legends to Overwatch 2: multiply by 3.33.
- Overwatch 2 to Valorant: divide by about 10.6. A sensitivity of 5 becomes about 0.471.

Choosing an Overwatch 2 sensitivity
Overwatch 2 mixes tracking heroes, flick heroes and fast movement, so the right sensitivity often depends on the heroes you play. Tracking heroes tend to suit a steadier, lower setting, while some players like a little more speed for mobile heroes. Change your sensitivity in small steps and practise with the Aim Trainer.
