Valorant eDPI Calculator

How to use it: enter your mouse DPI and your Valorant sensitivity. You get your eDPI, your 360 distance and the matching sensitivity for CS2 and Apex Legends.

This free Valorant eDPI calculator turns your mouse DPI and in-game sensitivity into one number, your eDPI. It also shows how far you move your mouse to turn a full 360 degrees, and converts your aim to CS2 and Apex Legends so it feels the same in every game.

How Valorant eDPI is calculated

In Valorant, eDPI is your DPI multiplied by your sensitivity:

Valorant eDPI = DPI x sensitivity

For example, 800 DPI with a sensitivity of 0.4 gives an eDPI of 320. Valorant turns the camera 0.07 degrees per mouse count at sensitivity 1, which lets the calculator work out your 360 distance: at 320 eDPI it is about 40.8 cm.

Where to find your Valorant sensitivity

  1. Open Valorant and go to Settings.
  2. Open the General tab and find the Mouse section.
  3. Your aim sensitivity is the value labelled Sensitivity: Aim.
  4. Your mouse DPI is set in your mouse software. If you are not sure of the real value, measure it with our Mouse DPI Analyzer.

The Scoped Sensitivity Multiplier only changes your sensitivity while scoped. The calculator uses your normal aim sensitivity.

Valorant eDPI examples

8000.432040.8
8000.540032.7
16000.2540032.7

Notice that 400 DPI at 0.8 and 800 DPI at 0.4 give exactly the same eDPI and the same 360 distance. That is the point of eDPI: what matters is the combination, not either setting on its own.

Converting Valorant sensitivity to CS2

Valorant turns about 3.18 times more per count than CS2. To get the same feel:

  • Valorant to CS2: multiply your Valorant sensitivity by 3.18. A Valorant sensitivity of 0.4 becomes about 1.27 in CS2.
  • CS2 to Valorant: divide your CS2 sensitivity by 3.18.

Apex Legends uses the same rotation as CS2, so the CS2 value works there too. The calculator does this conversion for you in the Same feel in other games list.

Choosing a Valorant sensitivity

Valorant rewards precise first shots, so many players prefer a fairly low sensitivity that lets them make small, controlled adjustments. If you are unsure, try a setting where one smooth sweep across your mouse pad turns you about 360 degrees, then fine-tune it in small steps. The Aim Trainer is a quick way to check how a new setting feels.

For other games, use the general eDPI Calculator or the CS2 eDPI Calculator.

Frequently asked questions

What is a good eDPI for Valorant?

There is no single right value. Use the 360 distance as a guide and pick the setting that lets you aim precisely and still turn fast enough for your play style.

Should I use 400, 800 or 1600 DPI in Valorant?

It matters less than you might think. What changes your aim is eDPI, so pick a DPI you like and adjust the in-game sensitivity to reach your eDPI.

Does raw input matter?

Valorant reads raw mouse input, so Windows pointer speed and pointer precision do not change your in-game aim.
